Follow these 8 steps in order.

1. Log in to Odoo
   Open your Odoo URL in the browser (e.g. your-company.odoo.com) and sign in with an admin account.
2. Open Preferences
   Click your name (top-right) → Preferences.
3. Create a Persistent API Key
   Go to Account Security → API Keys → New API Key.
   Choose type Persistent and copy the key immediately — it won't be shown again.

   No API Keys option? Enable Developer Mode and make sure you have Administrator access.
4. Log in to the Connector Dashboard
   Open the Dashboard and sign in with your email. You will receive a verification code to confirm access.
5. Enter your Odoo credentials
   In the Dashboard, go to the settings section and fill in:

   • Odoo URL — e.g. https://your-company.odoo.com
   • Username — your Odoo login email
   • API Key — the persistent key from step 3

   Include https:// and do not add a trailing /.
6. Enter the database name
   Enter your Odoo database name in the DB Name field and save.
7. Select the company
   Select the Odoo company you want to sync with your Salla store from the dropdown list.
8. Save & verify
   Click Save. The system validates the connection automatically.
   
   Success? A green checkmark appears with the message:
   “Odoo Connected Successfully — Your Odoo instance is now connected.”
   
   Failed? Check the following:

   • • Odoo URL opens in a browser
   • • Username and API key are correct
   • • DB Name is correct
   • • Odoo allows external API access
